About the author:
As a pastor and counselor, Kenneth M. Mick, Sr. has successfully taught the truth of Lion Slayer for over 40 years. For six years he wrote “Green Pastures,” a weekly devotional in the Juniata Sentinel newspaper in central PA. Pastor Ken received his B.A. in B. Ed. From Columbia International University and his M.Div. from Reformed Episcopal Seminary.
October 22, 1988: “Do not let God bring you home in a box or place you in the hospital”. These words spoken by my mother started to flood my mind. The previous year I had run away. I was heavily under the influence of drugs and alcohol. My eyes were bloodshot red and glossy. In the cold night, I begin walking towards the car. The Lord enabled me to see a bullet pass the side of my face; then another ricochet on the top of the car and hit me in the left side of my neck.

Roland Rodene was born in Les Anglais, Haiti. He is a friend of God. Haiti’s history and culture have been his great passions. He has been undertaking missionary trips to Haiti since 1997. He escaped the January 12, 2010 earthquake by three days. He obtained a bachelor degree in Economics and a master in Administrative Studies (Multinational Commerce) while working at Boston University. He lives in Brockton, MA. with his wife Mona Louis and son, Josue Rodene.
There are two grades of human beings, high and low. Their grades have nothing to do with material wealth, title etc . . . But have something to do with character wealth. These character grades determine whether one is likeable or not, and if one lives a happy and meaningful life or not. High grades enrich other's lives while low grades tire and bore others. High character grade doesn't mean “perfect” but is the one and probably the only one important factor in life. Not only in relating to others but also in relation to oneself. Material wealth doesn't matter much once economic independence is achieved, but character wealth matters most in life. For instance, high grades are always sufficient in life no matter what, while low grades are always insufficient. Not only that, you always have to be careful of low grades since they are opportunistic and manipulative, therefore using others. While high grades are genuine, therefore enriching not only other's lives but also their own lives.
This book is about philosophy, romance, and poetic love letters, and about the war in Lebanon. The rest are about his life stories.

Adel Hariz, born in November 15, 1957, in Zahle Lebanon, second of four boys. The father was abusive to his family. Adel was involved in commerce since he was twelve years old. His father passed away in 1970, then afterwards the war started in Lebanon in 1975. So the family decided to immigrate to America on June 19, 1979. When they came here, he started working in the Real Estate Business and went to school at the same time to get his engineering degree. So he worked in the High-tech industry as a semiconductor engineer in the weekdays, and in the Real Estate Business in the weekends. In 2005, he read the Bible twice which inspired him to start writing, so he wrote about Philosophy, Romance, Poetic Love Letters and about the war in Lebanon.

Astrida Tiss was born in Americana, a city in San Paulo State, East Brazil. The elder daughter of Latvian parentage; her formative years were influenced by the diligent care of her maternal Grand-mother.
At her Pastor-father’s behest she attended music Conservatory where she studied piano, earnestly. This endeavor proved not to be her forte. Instead, Astrida elected to pursue a Nursing career, receiving her degree from the prestigious San Paolo University. She practiced her expertise in the Surgical sphere for a span of forty-one years.
Over the course of several decades she has meticulously compiled several journals; depicting Their journey across the globe; prior to, during her family’s Brazilian experience, and beyond. Much of these recordings have been transcribed in “Latvia’s Faithful Son”
Currently, Astrida utilizes her God-endowed seamstress talents in her Ministry. As a Vitas Hospice volunteer, she brings solace to Bereaved families, providing consolation and hope only the inimitable comfort her custom-crafted ‘memorial’ Bears can supply.
Married, and living in Texas USA., she and her husband parent a blended family comprised of five adult children, and eight grand-children.
This book is a discussion on the Age of Aquarius that has arrived within the past few years. The subjects affects us all. The author is Founder of Ruth 2:7/Founding House Ministries established upon a vision given to her by God during her mission trips to Haiti.
