Poetry of a Clear Vision: A Collection of Poetry and Musings
The construction of this book is based on thoughts, statements, poems, passing through my mind since 1968. The journal found a beginning as I was steaming across the Pacific Ocean, in route to Vietnam via the USA Delta A-R-9 Auxiliary Repair Ship Pacific Fleet. Hence, this book was brought forth from its beginning in the galley, 2000 miles out to sea, in the bowels of the vessel. May my writings leave its mark on your mind and inspire a curious amusement that you may enjoy while passing through my clear visions.

Poison in Paradise
By Jim Shon
The year is 1986 in the multi-cultural and multi-ethnic mosaic that is Hawaii. Poison in Paradise is about power politics, crime arrogance, cover-ups, the media, and the inner working of a legislature. It is set at a time when the environmental movement was just learning to challenge the growing appetite for development and profit.
Follow the inner thoughts and maneuvers of rival legislators, and how the world of the state capitol is interwoven with the corporate appetites of a declining agricultural industry, the state of the media and how it covered public affairs before the arrival of the Internet.

Pop A Yellow Smoke and Other Memories!
Pop A Yellow Smoke – has 28 chapter/stories. They are all true, poignant, yet often humorous stories that people need to read. They are the kind of stories our children need to have in their mind and heart about Vietnam. There has been so much bad print, this is a refreshing point of view suitable for the whole family, and very entertaining too!
These educators and leaders have said:
Pop A Yellow Smoke and other memories by W. Charles Truitt, a vivid story of a United
States Marine in the Vietnam War. Chuck Truitt was a student at Tennessee Temple University, Chattanooga, Tennessee, beloved by faculty and students. The man lives with a burden for others. His deep concern led him back to the work of missions and helping others to trust and follow Christ! I received his book – read it with great interest! Note the pictures and illustrations.– Dr. Lee Roberson, Chancellor, Tennessee Temple University

Pop A Yellow Smoke is captivating history of being ‘in country” during the Vietnam War.
Chuck Truitt is a Christian, a missionary, a husband and a father, but he is also a MARINE. These first-person stories are captivating and challenging. There is no doubt in my mind that a student of history, Vietnam, or military conflict of any era will enjoy this book heartily. Chuck Truitt is a man who has stood for his country and for his Lord.

POUR ON THE RICHNESS
About the Book
Poverty and shame go side by side with wealth and fame where billionaires and bums live on the same block. Odd life this world, where greed is the game and giving is for others. Pour on the Richness is about social injustice throughout the world, though not much one can do about it but write poetry.

Poverty of Economics
By D.L. Snow
Babyboomer contradictions have their story told here in a parody and postmodern style, in the microcosm, generally, of Berleley California. And this is a crime novel.
Red Bautsky majors in anthropology and goes into the CIA. Rake Beuerbach, a criminologist, becomes a legal semiotic prosecutor in the city of Berkeley. His lifelong partner, Natasha Rimsky, is the heroine here, the girl with the gold earring. Enrico Pelican, a graduate of Cal’s masters in journalism school, is the narrator.
There are many types of capitalism in the word and it is like a whale in an ocean of signs, such that the whale is unaware of the signs. The important thing here is not to smash the means of communication and make treaties. This is a double tragedy and is PG-13 rated.
About the Author:
D.L. Snow graduated from the University of California and the University of Chicago.

Powers Trace
By Don Bill
Powers Trace is a fictional town located among the farms on a two-lane road in the lower left corner of Georgia. The five person police force struggles to protect and serve the people of their small town with limited funds and cast-off equipment handed down from the county sheriff’s department. Like police in most small towns, they get the job done working long hours for low pay. This is their story.
Author Bio
I escaped from a small Kansas farm town, to serve 20 years as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force, living a life I dreamed of growing up. After the flying was over, I completed the MBA degree, and spent an unexciting career as a cost accountant in various manufacturing companies. Along the way, small sail boat racing became an obsession and we followed many fleets around courses throughout the Southeast. This led to two terms as the Commodore of the local sailing and yacht club. I now live with my wife in a small town in Georgia.
