    My name is Corinna Montgomery, born 1962 in East Germany, City Jena. I started school 1968 and finished in 1978. I started a vocational school as Dressmaker. I couldn’t finish this school, because I got arrested. The reason for this was, my parents and I planned to escape in West Germany. We all got arrested in July 1979. 1981 I came to West Germany with my parents. 1999 I came to America, by then I had two sons. One lives today in Germany, the other one in America.

    1968 wurde ich eingeschult und erhielt meine Abschluss 1978. Danach ging ich zur Berufsschule um den Beruf der Schneiderin zuerlernen. Ich konnte diese Lehre nicht abschliessen, da meine Familie verhaftet wurde. Der Grund für unsere Festnahme war, versuchte Republikflucht nach West Deutschland.

    Dies gescharr im Juli 1979.

    1981 wurden meinen Eltern und ich in die Bundesrepulik West Deutland entlassen.

    1999 siedelte ich über nach Amerika, zu der Zeit hatte ich bereite 2 Söhne.

    Mein Buch enthält die mächtige Geschichte meines Lebens.

    Ich bin froh das ich überlebt habe um meine Geschichte zu erzählen und hoffe das ich den Menschen damit Augen öffnen kann.

    Da wir in ungewissen Zeiten leben und verstehen sollten, das uns die Freiheit nicht für umsonst gegeben wird.
    Ich bin dankbar für was ich erreicht habe im Leben, doch mein Kampf ist noch nicht zu Ende.

    About the Author:

    Elisient Maeve Vernon spent most of her life in children’s ministry. She worked with children in the churches pastored by her husband Rev. Samuel Vernon who is now retired from full time ministry.

    Mrs. Vernon spent her early years in a rural village in Jamaica where her father was the pastor. She was a tomboy, the only girl among several brothers.

    After High School she was trained as a children’s librarian. Her years of experience in working with children in the Library Services in Jamaica, Trinidad and Western Canada, and also her studies in child psychology, writing for children and study of the Bible were evidences that God had prepared her to become Younger Children editor for Caribbean Christian Publications (CCP).

    She now resides with her husband of 63 years in Miami, Florida.

    Janice Hutterer was born and raised in Wisconsin. She graduated from Silver Lake College where she received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Special Education in 2002. Janice is an Early Childhood Special education teacher in Manitowoc, Wisconsin where she has taught for 13 years.
