All teachers and parents want their children to enjoy learning and to have successful beginning reading experience. The activities on the pages of this Workbook will help to develop skills and self-confidence for a successful beginning. This is a workbook to be used as a “giving helper” and as an introduction to basic lessons taught by a teacher-student partnership or by a student-helping-student partnership.

Melvine Groves – For 25 years, I greatly enjoyed teaching K to 4th grades until 2012, when I retired. My class sizes were up to 28. It is, and was, rewarding to have been and to be a part of children learning, and them having successful beginning reading experiences.
