About the author:
John spent 10 years in the ministry ministered to inmates in the Limestone County jail, had a television ministry, as well as ministering online. He decided to write a series of books explaining everything that he learned while in the ministry, in an effort to help people who are searching for information about Spiritual Warfare. He believes that this book will present a wealth of information, not only from what he was taught studied, and read, but also from his own personal experiences, for those who are seeking information as he did, when first getting started as well as help for those who are already in the ministry. John presently lives in the Streetman, TX area, is married to Joann, with four sons. He grew up in Louisiana and Texas, was raised as a Southern Baptist and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1976. He obtained additional training in Belief Therapy from the Therapon Institute located in Humble, Texas.

The Sojourners Volume 1
The United States was just beginning to emerge from the Great Depression of 1930’s when war began to rage in Europe. The United States at this time was not an active participant in the war. However, the U.S. was shipping war materials to England and Russia to aid their effort. The draft to conscript for the service had been initiated in order to develop a state of readiness in the event the U.S. would enter the European War. It was against this backdrop that the Imperial Japanese Navy, allies of Hitler’s Germany, made a surprise attack on the American Fleet at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on December 7, 1941. This single act mobilized the entire nation to build the military forces that would defeat the enemy in Europe and in the Pacific.
The story is about that mobilization and it is developed around one eight-year-old boy and his family as they are forced to move from the rural south into the industrial northeast. The boy becomes a witness to the history that develops daily. He, along with the boys from other families also forced to move to the region, have many adventures as they assimilate into the new community. During this time of shortages and rationing they must improvise in order to try to lead a normal life without the standard accoutrements of their age group. In their desire to live and grow they become ensnarled in many situations that illustrate the temperament and values of the time.
The story hearkens back to a much more innocent and simple time. The historical content is complemented by the humorous activities and behavior of the young boys and their relationship to the adults of that era.

The Solution: Repairing Our Broken Political System
Our current political system puts too much power into the hands of the few and often produces results that don’t work. The Solution proposes a plan that restricts the size and scope of the federal government while increasing the direct influence of the people. The goal is to make government simpler with full public accountability.
The book is divided into four sections. Two sections describe the various reasons why big government programs don’t work and refute the reasons often cited for why they should. Parts three and four propose my notion of a fix to the political system: first, a number of constitutional amendments aimed at making government function similar to what the founders intended and yet are more modern and, second, policy recommendations that repair and replace nonfunctional programs and deal with a number of existing political and social issues.
Author Bio
MR. STOCKDELL was born in Richmond VA and graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in English. While he was there he wrote a large number of poems and short stories and two novels. Over the next thirty years he worked as a systems analyst, data processing manager and management consultant, including three years in the federal government. Mr. Stockdell has an MFA in Fiction Writing and a masters in social work. He began The Solution in 2011 but failed to meet a 2012 deadline. He resumed the book in 2015 and finished it in the spring of 2016.

About the Author
Dr. William P. Colbert
As the chief researcher and author of The Jewelers Sales Training Program, Dr. Colbert comes with a rich background that includes education and retail jewelry management experience that is told in detail in The Story of the Retail Jewelry Sales Training Program. He received his undergraduate teaching degree at Minnesota and Masters and Doctorate at Columbia University in the City of New York. He has taught at all level of the educational ladder. For many years he was a retail jeweler. Many of the training sessions and sales promotion ideas included in the program were originally tested in his jewelry store.
